7 Ham Radio Emergency Communications (Katrina) News Stories (6 Sept):
Editor's Note: Due to the sheer volume of news stories relating to Ham Radio's role in emergency communications in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina I am placing all of the (daily) news stories on this topic into a single news story. I will be adding these multiple stories in each day as they come out. This will keep our News section of eHam from being a several pages long in just a few days, while still providing our readers with just as many ham-radio-related news stories on the subject as possible. As always, simply click the "LINK" below the titles to bring up the story in a new browser window.

I am so proud of the way folks have responded to this crisis. Hams, and helpers, those who can go and those who can send $$ and those who donate blood. God bless all of thos affected, and those who help.
All the flames and complaints seem pretty small compared to the lives of thousands. Keep up the great work.
73 and good luck,
tom N6AJR
