Check out this awesome new feature on Ham-Shack.com!

You can now view the Amateur Radio Repeater Directory visually utilizing Google Maps! You can view repeaters by state or search for the closest repeater to your location!

For US repeaters: http://www.ham-shack.com/repeater.html

For Canadian repeaters: http://www.ham-shack.com/can_repeater.html

Special thanks to David Levine for helping us with this project!

In many cases, what you get is a great map to the repeater trustee's mailing address.

Nice idea, but it depends on more precise and complete information being entered into it. I found one whole city misplaced by 50 miles in Tennessee (Lafollette is not between Sevierville and Newport) and several very active repeaters are not listed at all.

Noticed two things.

146.715 in Berea, KY. The location more closely matches the trustee's address rather than the physical location of the repeater. A value derived from the license I guess.

Also:
Two repeaters in Richmond, KY are missing completely. They appear on the list but not the maps.

Interesting none the less.
