ARRL President Joel Harrison, W5ZN Not to Seek Reelection:

After serving two terms as ARRL President, Joel Harrison, W5ZN, has decided not to seek reelection when his current term expires January 16, 2010. Harrison began his ARRL career as a volunteer ARRL elected official in 1983 when he became the Section Manager in the League's Arkansas Section. Subsequently, he has served as Delta Division Director and Vice President. In 2000, he was elected First Vice President; he was elected President in 2006.
