OK, another null to find on my tuner. Obviously can't transmit, but will be interesting to see if their 25 watt transmissions can be heard at the top of the Pacific.

At this wavelength it could be very difficult to build even a marginally efficient radiator. The equivalent of an 8-ft whip on 40m would be 120 ft at 600m.

That almost sounds do-able. Pity ordinary hams in the US can't give 600 meters a try. 73, John
