New Radio Lab Helps Students Broadcast To The World And Spac

I wish the news media would not use the word "broadcast" when referring to amateur radio.

We do not broadcast, we engage in 2-way communication.

It is rare that any news article about amateur radio really gets it right.

Any hams talking to news media should specifically ask them not to use that word. We should point out that in fact except for certain cases, we are prohibited from one-way "broadcasting."
