NASA Plans 'Close Encounter' With The Sun:

When I read stuff like this, I want to kick something small and helpless.

Where is the probe going? To the heart of the Milky Way Galaxy which is supposed to be an ice-cold black hole or the heart of our Solar System which is the Sun?!

Presumably she meant the latter, since she alluded to a story without remembering the name or author. I think she meant "Golden Apples of the Sun," by Ray Bradbury.

Don't read it. 73, John
