Aves Island (YV0) DXpedition Postponed

YV0- AVES ISLAND

The planned DXpedition by the Radioaficionados de Venezuela (ARV)scheduled for February or March has been postponed.

The main reason is the Venezuelan Navy is unable to transport the crew.

The only options available were a one day stay, while the navy resupplied the island personnel, or a one month stay until the supply ship returned on its schedule. Either of these options are not plausible for the 20 man crew who planned the operation.

The Navys' priorities have changed as well due to recent hurricane damage and budgetary changes.

The operation is still planned to go for an all band effort, you'll just have to be patient!
