Revised Amateur Radio examination question pools for the new Elements 2,3 and 4 that become effective April 15, 2000, are now available at the ARRLWeb page at www.arrl.org/arrlvec/pools.html. The ARRL-VEC's Wayne Irwin, W1KI, says the revised pools remain a work-in-progress, and graphics are still being integrated. Irwin says the current Technican, General, Advanced and Extra
graphic sheets remain available and valid. Examinations for Elements 2 and 3 will contain 35 questions and Element 4 will contain 50 questions.

Tobeeper-I do go there ditect, but I also built all my ant.(2 m quad and 70 cm Quagi) as well as several others. I know of so 'EXTRA' tickets that can't even tune a manual ant. tuner. We have one that can not get a 'MOSLEY VERT.' to operate with less that 5:1 SWR. Was very good at mem. the question pool and now CDS on the air. Maybe that should be the kind of 'HAMS' that should never get a LIC. to start with. Not the ones that think that CW has a place on the air but not forced down my throat. I have made CW contacts on the birds, but I will not upgrade because of the attiude of the OLDER CW NUTS. Can you do satellite, Give me a call or better an e-nail and we can talk about it.

Most of the flack seems to have "I HAD TO LEARN THE CODE-SO SHOULD YOU". Using this, why don't you learn how to operate on the 'BIRDS"--satellites and include that in the tests. Show me how smart you really are. I am only a 'TEC' but I am proud to say the I have 9 countris in Europe on 2 meters. I also have Canada as well as Mexico. Try to do that on 2 meters and I'll upgrde according to your standards.---I will not upgrade because I'm scared that it will turn me into something like you---STUPID AND NARROW MINDED!!! By the way W 1 STU means WAS ONE SMARTER THAT YOU. BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP----'BIRD TALK'.

Restructuring has gotten me interested in getting my General
and I will be taking my written next week. Then- the wait.
To all established Generals, Advanced and Extra Class
hams- please accept my challenge:
Take a current test here at eham.com and see if
you score well enough to get your ticket. That's 80% or better!
I bet you can do it if you try!
Jeff
