Reading this, it sure seems to cross over the line between government assuming they have rights to use amateur radio themselves.

You have know idea OM....our bands are turning into one
big ECOMM/EMAIL free-bee bands.

Winlink is taking over the lower parts and the ECOMM Whackers are getting the upper.

Good Luck....we will need it.

Yes, because without that little unit [dongle] and ham radio, people with computers can't talk and send messages anywhere in the world through the internet - er...um...wait a minute....

"Amateur radio is way ahead of how public services uses ham radio, said Selby..."
