A new book has been released by the author of
"Philo T. Farnsworth: The Father of
Television". Philo Farnsworth is a favorite
technical pioneer in history among many hams.
Donald G. Godfrey has just released this new
book about the American film and television
inventor, Charles Francis Jenkins. It is
entitled, "C. Francis Jenkins, Pioneer of
Film and Television".
If you enjoyed Don's previous book, "Philo T.
Farnsworth: The Father of Television", this
new biography will provide equal reading
pleasure. It's great that there are still
some folks who can document the achievements
of the early technical pioneers. Donald G.
Godfrey, Ph.D. is Professor Emeritus of the
Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass
Communication at Arizona State University.
