VK6WIA -- NewsWest for 08/01/2017:

In the news this week we look at Ham Radio Deluxe and complaints about HRD support and black-listing of users who had paid for their license.

We take a closer look at the Silverdale aka Trainsafe aka Mr Fred Swainston assessment relationship with the WIA, the ACMA and the implications for licensing of Radio Amateurs.

One of our own, a respected amateur, an experienced sailor and a fool-hardy fisherman makes the news for all the wrong reasons. Spoiler alert, Lance is still with us and in good spirits.

We start this edition of NewsWest with the Silent Key announcement of Graham VK6ZGG.

Producer: Onno VK6FLAB
