Romanian Translation of the IARU Emergency Telecommunications Guide Now Online:

Francisc Grünberg YO4PX completed the 'Herculanean' task of translating into Romanian the 93 pages IARU Emergency Telecommunications Guide.

His work is hosted in two formats on the website in HTML at:
in PDF at:

Francisc hopes that his translation will stock the knowledge of the Romanian hams in the field of EmComms and will provide them with an incentive to training and setting up their modern National Emergency Network.

The own website of Francisc is at, where he published more than 900 articles in the last 7 years. He burned on a CD 110 «best of» articles and distributed them free of charge in hundreds of copies among the YO hams. The content of the CD can be downloaded from here.

Other educational ham radio literature translated and published by Francisc on his website:

Conversation Guide for Radio Amateurs in 6 languages (compilation)

The New DXer’s Handbook by Bryan Anderson K7UA

Operating Practices by Mark Demeuleneere ON4WW
