Screamin' Yellow Zonkers

Let's hope some of these ops representing the USA keep their mic gains in check. Lately some of the 'big names' have been embarrassingly lacking in good operating practice - all in the name of victory?

MIC gain in check?

I don't think with a 100w to a tribander at 40' these guys will much of a terror to anyone. Probably 80% of the contest will be on CW anyway. Take 2 aspirins and work 'em in the morning.

Hey Anonymous, Why don't you let us all know who you are??
Maybe you don't want us to know after making a stupid comment like this. You are obvious sterotyping these
guys as "trying to win at all costs" and "lacking in
good operating practice" just because they are big name contesters. I can tell you I know many of these guys
personally and the others I work all the time and all these
guys are great operators... that's why they were chosen
by their respective contest clubs.
