VHF/UHF Radios

Kenwood TK-705D - Sold!

This Kenwood TK-705D is a great little radio. It was actually a commercial VHF-hi radio but was front-panel programmable into the 2 meter bands and has served me well for occasional 2-meter use in my garage over the past year or so.

The radio is very clean and works well. Output is rated at 25W but I had this backed down to 12W or so as that was more than enough to access my local machines. The radio has CTCSS encode/decode, scan, and 16 memory channels.

For $85 I will ship the radio and factory hand-mic to your door in the lower 48 by USPS Priority Mail. The radio has a short power cord terminated into PowerPole connectors. I will also include front-panel programming instructions and a copy of the adjustment points in case you want to raise the output back to 25W. There is a lot of other info about this radio available on the internet.

Please contact me with any questions. I am selling this radio to raise funds for some D-Star equipment and will be glad to provide my eBay user ID for a reputation reference (I am tired of dealing with problem buyers on that site).

Thanks & 73-
