MINT Alpha 8100 1500 Watt HF Linear Amplifier for sale.

Covers 160 thru 10 meters including the WARC bands and uses two 4CX800A (gu-74B) ceramic metal tetrode's in parallel. Heavy Duty construction and very quiet blower. The Alpha 8100 is a self-contained manual tune HF linear power amplifier, weighing approx. 68 lbs, capable of continuous operation at 1500 W peak power output on SSB, keyed CW, SSTV, RTTY, digital modes or FM with no time limit. Full QSK vacuum relay. Linear LED display for all metering functions. Amp not abused nor run at over 1500 watts out. Owned approx. 12 months with only occasional use. Used in a Non-smoking environment. Amp is setup for 240 VAC operation and comes without the power plug. This is the way it comes from the factory. Comes with original operating manual and a full set of schematics.

Amp is now at Alpha to upgrade/reprogram the control board and to check for any problems. $4500.00 with FREE SHIPPING/INSURANCE from Alpha in Boulder, CO 80303 to you.

Will be shipped from Alpha via Air Freight secured on a pallet. I will accept a cashier's check from a US Bank or a USPS money order. I will also accept Paypal but buyer agrees to pay for the shipping/insurance from 80303. Serious inquiries only.
