OK. i just purchased this radio from a local ham and was told it works 100 percent. i normally spend a lot of time on hf and use a different 2m rig for local repeaters.
i tried using this radio on 2 meters just to check and found that it works on 2 meters when radio is cold but when it warms up, power will go from full to low, only on 2 meters and only when warmed up. HF WORKS GREAT WARM OR COLD. radio is in VERY CLEAN TO MINT CONDITION. separation kit is UNUSED.
i was told that i probably has a cold solder joint. i don't fix radios and don't know how.
will also come with a stock mic and power cord.
