Offering, as a result of an aborted Ameritron AL1500 dedicated 6m retrofit project,a
complete high voltage 2KW+ tank circuit component package for the homebrewer. Included in
the parts offering is a brand new small footprint 5KV 20-100pFd plate tune vacuum
variable, pre-tuned solid copper tank coil, wide spaced 180pFd air variable antenna tune
capacitor, a completely assembled HV plate choke wound on a threaded porcelain rod,a 10KV
bypass cap, and a 5KV 500pFd ceramic RF blocking capacitor. Additional components include
a 1/4" shaft(s) bronze bevel gear right angle drive with removable mounting bracket,
a porcelain shaft insulator with a shaft extender, and a series of porcelain standoffs.
This array of components all contribute flexibility to the builder's design and enclosure
space constraints when considering mounting the vacuum variable capacitor either to the
front panel or inboard with the angle drive. $185 + shipping
