6 Meter Amplifier

Due to personal problems, I have decided to sell my 6 Meter amplifier. I have complete documentation on the amp, which was built based on plans in the Nov. 1970 QST. The amp is the same as in the article except that it has the power supply built into the same box. The amp does 600-700 Watts out with 35-50 Watts of drive in with a new tube. It can run on 110 or 220 VAC and right now it is wired for 110. It uses a single 3-500Z tube. The tube in it now needs to be replaced, since it is only putting out about 200 Watts. The power supply is 2400V from an SB-200 with a Harbach power supply board and soft start built-in. Just to buy all the parts new for this amp (transformer, power supply board, case, fans, relays, meters, tank circuit, coaxial relays, 3-500Z, etc.) will cost you over $1000 these days. I am selling my amp for $600.00 cash. My preferred buyer would be someone in Southern California, who would come over and pick it up, since I am near Los Angeles. But I will ship it anywhere in the lower 48 for the cost of packing, shipping and insurance. For more info, please Email me offlist, directly to my Email address below or call.
