A station setup I propose for trade is ideally suited for CC&R problems, home base, mobile, portable, EmComm and even camping (when it gets warmer). The IC-703 us a different design and in many ways it is much better. Also included is the separation cable for mobile or custom installation. Yes it is only 10 watts, but that is only 1.5 s-units below 100 watts and really does get though. For home or travel I am including a small and light weight SEC-1223 25 amp switching supply. Finally, an outstanding portable antenna that is a great match for the 703 ATU. It is the MP-1 40 – 10 meter Super Antenna. Just slide it up and down for max signal or noise, then let the internal ATU do the work in making it 1:1 swr .
