I have a decent, functioning Icom IC-3220H for sale. The rig is clean works great. I bought this radio from a local ham's estate sale and it is spare to my needs. I am told the ham used this in T-hunting and he modified the radio which occasions three caveats: (1) The dial lamp (display lamp) does not work, (2) the antenna plug is a cable terminating in an SO-239 plug, and (3) there is a small cable terminating in a FEMALE phone plug wired to the discriminator. Firstly, the display is completely readable in lighted conditions; the only problem with this would be if you wanted to use the radio mobile. Driving in the dark might not afford as good visibility as a unit with a functioning display, obviously. The antenna plug/cable is cleanly done and professional in appearance as is the discriminator output cable and plug.
All of that said, it would make an excellent station rig.
As I said, it is clean (I will be happy to provide pictures upon request) and I believe the display lamp problem is repairable -- It might even be a configuration error. It comes with an operator's manual and a service manual. I am asking $120 plus s&h from 92708. It is a small enough radio that i can send it USPS Priority if you like. I will accept a USPS money order or your personal check. However, if you pay me by personal check, I will require it to clear before sending the radio.
