Maldol HVU-8 HF/VHF 80m to 70cm antenna

I have for sale a Maldol HVU-8 I have lightly used over the summer at a temporary QTH. I no longer have need of this antenna.
Perfect for small space installations or portable use.
It works well and covers bands 80m-70cm and I made many contacts on CW & Digital modes. It is a very narrow bandwidth antenna (v. high Q) so you WILL need to tune it at your QTH. It will really help if you have an antenna analyzer or can borrow one. Once it is tuned it performs fine. Not great on 80m but I am only using it with an FT-817 5W rig. I did make some contacts in PSK31 on 3580 but not many. 40m seemed fine and worked FL from WA. 20m was very good. I am sure the higher bands are good too.
It is in very clean condition and I will send the extra elements and the instructions that came with it.
It cost me $329.99 new from AES. I also reviewed this antenna for eHam and provided a link to a data capture file from my ZM-30 so you can see it does indeed tune as advertised. I won't accept a return because "it won't tune". It does and I can prove it :)
I will let this go for $185 including shipping to CONUS. DX will be extra. Accept PayPal. Email me for more info.
