This is the rack-mounted version of the HC-10--HQ-180 circuitry from the 455 kHz IF strip to the audio output--plus an S-meter and 600-ohm line output. Works great with the SP-600, R-390A, etc. Very few around. This one is serial no. 56805097. It is complete and intact, no evident mods. It was purchased about a year ago with the intention of pairing it with the resident SP-600--one of many projects that didn't get off the ground. Now I'm thinning down prior to retiring.
Includes bottom cover, all tubes (original Hammarlunds), knobs, factory-supplied alignment tool in chassis clip, power cord, manual (commercial reprint).
Condition:
Unit is untested. Controls and switches will need cleaning, DeOxit, etc.
Front panel: solid 9 or better. Knobs are original. Chassis: 7 to 8+, depending on your scoring system. No rust on the chassis and it is not especially dirty, but it could use a session with a Scotchbrite pad to shine it up. The power transformer bell has superficial rust but the laminations are very clean. Case: no rust but needs brightening, especially in one dark area.
