Tentec Centaur (411) - Sold!

For sale is a Tentec Centaur - I believe I'm the second owner. Have
just installed a brand new set of Taylor 811A's from RF Parts. Amp did
go back to Tentec several years ago for an overhaul and I have their
test report/calibration report. (Went back for a capacitor
replacement). QTH is Attleboro, Massachusetts and I travel often
between Portsmouth, RI up to Tewksbury and Sudbury, MA so would be
able to arrange for local pickup within that area to save money.
Asking $500 if picked up, $550 if mailed. (Prefer Paypal if non-local)
Will be mailed in the same box (with custom foam) that Tentec shipped
it back to me in. (They keep the tubes in when they shipped it!) Have
the original manual, tube invoices & warranty, and repair record. Is
currently wired for 120VAC. It works fine, putting out 400-600W
depending on band; I have new used it on 160m (no antenna), have used
it fine on 80m down to 12m, no luck with 10m though, even though it
does have the 10m option and Tentec report shows full output. (Must
be an operator problem!) Tuning is very sharp, but stable and
repeatable. No problems with the small switches (Knock on
wood)...despite comments in the eHam reviews. Comes from non-smoking
house and is cosmetically very clean. Can send more pictures on
request... 73- Mark
