VHF/UHF Radios

Motorola Maxtrac 900 MHz (Ham Converted)

Fully converted 900 MHz Motorola
Maxtrac in like-new condition
(converted for 33cm ham band
operation). I purchased this radio
in early 2005 and it was a New Old
Stock (NOS) radio that was still in
the original box when I bought it.
It had never been used before my
purchase and is one of the very few
Maxtracís that was purchased new
and is a single owner radio with
very light use. I replaced the
stock front-end filters with TOKO
915 MHz filters and reworked the
VCO for proper 33cm operation. The
radio works perfectly in the 902-
928 MHz ham band and after my
conversion was as if it had been
made just for this band.

$200 which INCLUDES shipping (I can
only ship this radio to the USA
lower 48 states - Very sorry)

This is a 16 channel radio with 16-
pin rear connector and a high power
(30-watt) output PA. I also
replaced the stock front control
bezel with a new conventional
version. Since the radio has been
fully converted for conventional
analog ham radio operation it only
seemed fitting to at least spend a
little on the correct bezel since
it is now a dedicated 33cm
transceiver. This is a nice touch
because thereís no guess-work in
which button does what and is as if
Motorola themselves designed this
radio for the 902-928 MHz ham band.

Email me direct at
ke4rws@comcast.net and I can answer
any questions you may have. I have
numerous detailed pics I can send
upon request - Just ask and I'll
send them out.

I accept PayPal or USPS Money
Order. I cannot accept any other
form of payment and will ship the
radio within 1 business day upon
clearance of the funds.
