Towers & Access

Rohn SSV CLONE 140 ft TOWER

I have the equivalent to Rohn sections 12N, 11N, 10N, 9N, 8N, 7N, and 6N. Plus the top plate with pulleys. The tower is approximately 17 ft on a side at the base and 2-1/2 ft on a side at the top. It weighs about 7,000 pounds.

The tower was made by Advance Industries in Iowa and was an exact copy of the Rohn SSV design. The company is apparently out of business now. I once checked the tower out in detail and the only difference I could find was the thickness of one or two sets of flange plates. The AI tower used thicker plates on a section or two. Probably done to reduce the number of different thicknesses of material needed to make the plates.

The tower is located near Greeley, CO and is on the ground but the individual sections are still assembled. in order to show it is all there.

Price $4,000 or interesting partial trade.
