Henry 100B HF Solid State Amplifier

This interesting solid-state amplifier offers 200+ watts output with flea power of just a few milliwatts.

The system uses a low-power preamp (or QRP stand-alone amp) to excite the second amplifier with up to 25 watts input. The resultant output power of the larger amp is over 200 watts on most bands in the amateur frequencies. This allows one to use a very low power exciter to drive the larger amp to full output.

As little as a few milliwatts to the input of the preamp will drive the amp to about 95 watts.

This amplifier/preamplifier setup is perfect for use with the FT-817, K1 or HW-8 low power rigs.

The amp uses 2 MRF 433 transistors in the preamp and two MRF 421 transistors in the larger, high power amp.

This amp has been tested and it is in good working order.

Serial number 45-699.

Asking $250.00 pluss shipping via FedEx.
