HF Amplifiers

Heathkit SB-220 for sale *Read* SOLD!

I have for sale, a Heathkit SB-220 80-10 meter linear amplifier in working condition. It has brand new Harbach filter capacitor and meter board kits installed, old stock Eimac 3-500Z tubes that are producing around 1350 watts PEP on 7 mhz. No burns or arcs on the RF deck components including bandswitch and input network coils. Cosmetically it's about a 7 and shows evidence of being dropped at one time. It came to me in this condition and I straightened out the sub chassis and outer cover where the damage was most noticeable. The faceplate is okay, not perfect but very useable and the knobs are good. The paint is acceptable, so again a 7 on looks. It is currently wired for 120 volt operation. The amplifier was tested in my shop into a Bird load and measured very good output. The plate meter is not reading properly even though it doesn't show an open circuit, so I'm not sure what the problem is. However, a simple fix is in order and I have run out of time for going further, as most estate items can be this way, it's time to move it on to someone else.
I would be happy to provide pictures upon request as posting them here doesn't reveal as much detail as needed for someone to accurately gauge condition.
I am asking $575.00 plus shipping yet to be determined by QTH. I have an excellent heavy duty double carton already built up for it, so it will arrive in proper order. Happy to answer questions.
