MFJ-982 Antenna Tuner - Versa Tuner IV

I bought this 3 kilowatt series tuner new in 1983. It's worked perfectly ever since. No arcing, no heating, no erratic contacts. Not mint of course but not heavily used as I've had other tuners. Never ran more than 1200 PEP through it. Made in USA and better than the average MFJ item.

Non smoking home. Original paint, feet, knobs. Original manual included. You can read the manual before you buy if you like on mods.dk. It uses a standard T network with an internal balun. I've found a tapped inductor is easier and faster to use, and much more reliable than a roller. This tuner has never failed to match anything I've had, and that includes an 80 meter dipole on 160.
