Lafayette HA-500 Receiver

Very nice condition tube type receiver covering 80-6 meters with AM, CW, or SSB mode. Product detector for SSB. Fred Osterman rates it as "rare". The front panel is in excellent shape, as is the cabinet - no rust or corrosion inside or out. It plays well, especially on lower three bands, some noise when changing bands (try "tuner cleaner") Includes complete copy of the original manual. Will trade for Heathkit tube-type transmitter, especially DX-40 (or similar make - what do you have?) or HG-10 VFO, in likewise good shape, or sell for $110. plus shipping.
