FS: Vintage Johnson Thunderbolt Amplifier - Sold!

For Sale, local pick up in SoCal.
A very nice Johnson Thunderbolt linear amplifier in good working condition. I replaced the electrolytic capacitors in the screen and bias supplies. I powered it up and it shows resting current. Was pulled from an active working station a couple of years ago. Good finals, drawing good resting current. This is a self contained class AB1 grid excited amplifier that can be run full rated output with a very small amount of input. I am including the hard to find interface plug that allows exciter bias and relay control from an external source, and two manuals. This amplifier is in very good condition with only a couple of blemishes, which isn't bad considering how heavy it is... they usually get abused in storage but this one is an exception. I will meet within 50 miles of LA to exchange or you can pick up at my QTH. Asking $700.00. I will not ship due to the impracticality of size and weight. It also includes the twist lock 240 volt AC cable, wired for 240 volt operation. I am happy to answer your questions and provide additional photos if desired.
Thanks for looking!
