TEN – TEC OMNI D 546 Series B

Here is a Ten-Tec Omni D 546 Series B in Excellent condition. It comes with the matching Model 252G Power Supply. The connection cord is also factory. It comes with the manual. The letters are clear, the camera washed them out some.I used a Sure 444 mic on this but have since re-wired it for my Yaesu so it is not included. A D-104 or any 1/4” 3 wire phone jack mic would work. The radio tuning dial will drift some. I was always going to send it back but never did. It was useable as is. After a few minutes warm up it cleared up some. Now I see there are some fantastic kits available for this that drop in with a little time. Looks easy enough though. Do a Google search and you will find a nice youtube video for one of them. This radio is a 9.9 out of 10.
The signal reports I received were not just good but fantastic! Especially the audio. That may have been the sure mic. I recommend this mic. It is a very rugged radio with power supply protection. I have tripped it a couple times being stupid and it bounces right back. I have taken this to my cabin many times and had a lot of fun with it. The back is loaded with jacks for anything you need. I am selling it because I have 4 radios and 2 is enough for me. I am 61 and been playing with this stuff a long time.
Sorry to be so long winded. I just wanted to re-assure you that you are getting a good piece of equipment. It will put out full power easily as shown in the pics. You’ll get the radio, power supply w/cord and manual. Plug in a mic and go. 350.00 plus shipping. Thanks, Cal N8XB ( the real one. Someone stole my call sign a few months back and tried or did rip off a few people) I will make sure you know I am Cal Shindler. I was born and raised in this house in Elyria, Ohio for 61 years.
