HF Radios

WTT: IC-765 for TS570, FT920, IC7200 (or similar)

Willing to trade my really nice IC-765 for any of the following
(but not limited to just these models):
TS-570S, IC-7200, FT-920, etc.

Looking for something I can possibly lug with me to operate portable.
The 765 is great but a bit heavy for moving it around in a portable
set up. I recently obtained another base radio so moving this one out
and looking for something a bit smaller I can take with me to operate.

765 works great, recently was sent to HamRepair (Aug 2013) for a check
up, came thru with flying colors, no repairs ever done on the radio or
required. It comes with the original manual, box (but no inserts), a
ICOM hand mic, power cord.

Radio can run off DC power easily, (just unplug the AC supply output
(molex connector and connect your dc power cord) or via AC.
Has had the AGC mod done, plastic trimmers replaced with ceramic, PBT
Mods completed. Also has a QSYer for remote frequency entry separate
from the front panel keys.

Has the following filters installed:
FL 101
And an AM Filter (forget the number on it).

Previous owner took nice care of it as have I. Would prefer
to swap it somewhere within reasonable driving distance near DFW
(Texas). It is heavy and hate to ship it and take the risk of damage. If a decent trade is offered, may split/share the shipping cost on the 765.

If you want it and outside this area, you arrange for packing and
shipping. Radio is currently, in my shack, in use, so if you want an
on the air demo, that can be arranged. I have a pic of the front
attached. More pics can be sent separately via email if YOU ARE
SERIOUSLY INTERESTED. No tire kickers please. Already had a run of
those wasting time and causing me to pull the radio and re-install it.
Prefer not doing that unless someone really wants to get this fine
performing, top shelf radio (see Rob Sherwoods Receiver numbers on the
