HICKOK 752A Calibrated / Upgraded Tube Tester

Up for sale is my Hickok 752A Mutual Conductance Tube Tester. This tester was calibrated, refurbished and upgraded by Roger Kennedy from All in 2012. The meter was replaced, all out of tolerance resistors and capacitors replaced, the 5Y3 and 83 tubes were replaced with regulated, solid state plug in replacements. This greatly reduces calibration drift and the tester will remain in calibration for a much longer period of time. It also lets the power transformer run cooler by eliminating filament current draw and eliminates the environmental concerns with the 83 Mercury vapor rectifier. The 9 pin socket was replaced and fitted with a socket saver. The 7 pin and octal sockets, although in good condition were also fitted with socket savers. The roll chart works as it should. Cosmetically, VERY nice condition. This is the tester that can check the second (identical) section of a tube (like a 12AU / T / X / 7, 6SN7, 6SL7, 12BH7, etc) with the push of one additional button, you don't have to change any switch positions! It comes with the original manual and all documentation / invoice / test data from
Almost any tube tester you buy today will need a lot of work to bring it into good working order and calibration. This on has been fully gone through with many upgrades that should provide excellent service for years to come. I can make pictures available to interested parties. Asking $1200 OBO plus actual shipping costs to your QTH. Payment by USPS Postal Money Order. Tnx for looking & 73 de Bob.
