HF Antennas

Barker & Williamson's BWDS-90N

I have a Barker & Williamson's BWDS series of broadband folded dipole antenna for sale. Itís the 90ft stainless steel model. It has a low SWR operation over the entire HF band without need for an antenna tuner/coupler. They are frequency agile, and will operate continuous ALE or frequency hopping. It will propagate excellent NVIS, medium or long range, depending upon the mast configuration. Besides impressive performance transmitting, this antenna design also delivers excellent reception. The superior signal to noise ratio, loop configuration, and high impedance terminator allows reading the weakest signals that other antennas would lose in the background noise. I did take it out of the box and hung it for a weekend but my neighbors (and YXL) were less than appreciative of its esthetics. It did tune up well and I liked the sturdy construction but it has to go. It lists new for $825, selling for $300 plus shipping.

P/N: BWDS-90N - 1.8 - 54 MHz Folded Dipole, Stainless Steel, 90 Ft, N connector, 1 KW.

Would be willing to discuss trade for any of the following:
Elecraft K1 kit,
HB1B Four Band CW QRP Transceiver,
Hendricks PFR-3 Transceiver (40/30/20m)
