VARIABLE CAP 500 x 500 mfd..brass plates

Variable cap....This cap measure approx 500 per section..It appears to be a dual differential cap, but it is a an arrangement only to improve weight balance, so gravity or g-forces don't try to move the position. It is a conventional dual section cap probably with low friction bearings and mechanically balanced for weight by the alternating sections. So although it might not be obvious the capacitance is increasing and decreasing in both sections at the same rate...approx length is 6inches tip of shaft to rear tip of shaft, and approx 4 inches high, x 3 inches wide......Possibly the perfect variable for building that tuner, or amp...Sections have a common rotor, so they can be wired together to get over 1000mmf...$40.00 + shp
