***SOLD*** I have a virtually unused MFJ-1026 "Deluxe Noise Cancelling Signal Enhancer" for sale. The unit uses a second (not provided) antenna to phase-adjust combine the signal from two antennas (your usual station antenna and another one used for this purpose) to significantly reduce noise at your receiver - basically a signal-to-noise improver and an RF noise reducer. MFJ has a little telescoping whip to attach to the unit to act as the second antenna, but I'd use a (even indoor) "long wire" to get signal number two up in level so the unit can do a good job.
See the eHam reviews - my take is that the few negative ones were from poorly QC'd individual units...and this one seems in very good shape. Read them and decide for yourself...
Package includes original MFJ manual, the MFJ-1026, the 12VDC power supply that was ordered with it, and the telescoping (screw-in) whip antenna. No scratches, no-smoking environment, etc. Pristine.
I Paid $189.95 + $15.95 (P/S) = $205.90 for it in 2007. I got very busy with business right after that and set it aside for "later," which never came. It now sells for $199.95. The noise I had in 2007 disappeared somewhere around 2008-2009, so it's not needed at this QTH now. So I'm looking for a new home for it.
Price to you is $100 + shipping from Southern CA.
