MFJ-931 Artificial Ground **SOLD**

**SOLD**More shack cleaning! I have one MFJ-931 Artificial Ground up for sale as I no longer need it, having significantly improved my RF grounding situation. This unit is designed to solve problems (like with an upper-floor shack) where your ground system for RF purposes in lacking. For example if the ground connection to your external ground rod is a quarter-wavelength long and your rig is "hot" and/or antenna tuning seems whacky or gives you trouble. It does this by tuning out the ground connection's reactance with a short counterpoise connected to the unit - two front-panel knobs and a meter make it easy.

It's 7" wide x 3.25" high x 9" deep (including front knobs and rear ground stud). Small scratch on top of front panel.

See picture (if picture doesn't show, email me for a picture). Check out MFJ's website for full details. Note that this is apparently an earlier unit, as the current website picture shows a slightly different front panel configuration. Comes with two copies of the manual and bonding wire (with lugs) to connect to your antenna tuner's ground connection.

It works as advertised. They sell for $109.95 new and usually sell used for about $75. This one is yours for $49 + about $15 parcel post shipping and insurance. I'll eat the PayPal fee if you use PayPal. Personal/bank check OK. Address on QRZ.COM.

If interested, send a message to rayday///at///cox///point///net.
