FS: SteppIR 3 Element Beam with SDA-100 Controller

I have a 3-element SteppIR installed late 2006. Recently it
showed a high SWR. I took the beam down and checked it out on
saw horses at the tower base. Using a metal detector, I found
the director’s metal tape was about 16 inches short on 20
meters. I had to unplug a blockage in the director's fiberglass
tube from bug activity. The bugs were able to enter because the
foam plugs in the ends of the tubes deteriorated. Now the director
extends to full length, so apparently there was no damage to the
motor or metal tape.

I wanted to have the 30/40 meter dipole, so rather than upgrade my
SteppIR, I bought a new one with the 30/40 option and put it on he
tower.

The old beam can be refurbished with new rubber boots, new bug
blockers at the element ends, and sanding/painting the fiberglass
elements. I am selling it for $1,000 for local pickup only in
Raleigh, NC. This includes a new SDA-100 controller and 33V power
supply.
