HALLICRAFTERS HT-41 LINEAR

HALLICRAFTERS HT 41 LINEAR AMPLIFER

This old boat anchor has given me many, many years of great, dependable service!I fired it up on 40 meters...you can see the picture of the plate current of 400 ma. I did this today, 2/1/2016. Not bad for a 40 plus year old piece of equipment. I am the second owner.

The electrical condition is good. It does show the wear of being hauled all over the country, and used in 8 different locations. There are paint chips on the front, oxidation on the cabinet, and many scratches on the top and sides. But that does not stop it from working!

Here are a few of the specifications from the Hallicrafters operating instructions.

Covers 80-10 meters
Power consumption 1500 watts, 117 v, 60 cycles AC
Output impedance: 40 to 74 ohms
Has both HIGH and LOW drive..Needs 20 watts for LOW drive, and 60 for HIGH drive
High Drive input 1200 watts PEP-SSB, 700 watts cw-350 watts am
Low Drive input 1000 watts PEP-SSB, 600 watts cw-300 watts am
Net weight 85 pounds, shipping weight 97 pounds.
The only reason I am selling this is because I ordered an Ameritron AL-80b. Somethings got to go! Out of room!

This item is used and shows signs of use. It was tested briefly and worked. As you can see you may need to do a little restoration. Like all vintage radio equipment this is being Sold As IS/No Refunds/No Returns for any reason. I am asking $600.00, shipping not included. Due to the size and weight, it will have to be picked up, unless you can come up with some reasonable way to pack and ship it. Located near Gainesville, Florida 32631.

Questions please e-mail me at georgedeitz@yahoo.com. Please show HT-41 in the subject line. Thanks for looking!
