I'll put this out there and see what comes up. Here is what I have.
AL-811H with 572b tubes. This is currently putting out 500 watts but I have a new/never used set of AL-811 tubes for it which should make it 800+. You will also probably wind up with some nice 572b's on the side unless I miss my guess.
I also have a fully functional AL-811 which puts out its full 600 watts. Both Amps are in great cosmetic shape.
I also have an ARB-703 I will throw into the deal.
The first thing I am looking for is an AL-80B. I would also consider a very nice Transceiver like the Icom-756 Pro III, FTDX-3000. Let me know what you have. I have money to add if necessary. I take paypal and am not one of "those" people who ask for the lousy three percent. (A guy the other day was selling a $15.00 item and wanted 3% for paypal. The funniest part was he said, "Or best offer".)
I also have a cat. Why that is a big deal evades me. I do not let the cat operate my radio, play inside the covers or make excessive noise while I am operating. What the cat does when I am out to dinner is anyone's guess. So if you are one of those silly "no pet" people who must have a radio that has never been around a goldfish, hamster, dog, cat, trained crickets, whatever, then look elsewhere.
These were not my "backup" amplifiers when I first got them. I used them. Properly. I know how to tune a tube amplifier. I recommend everyone learn. That said, I am amazed at the money people here spend for a transceiver or amp that is only their "backup" equipment. I am interested in trading for yours even if you had the temerity to actually use it on the air regularly.
Anyway, this is a hobby not a business, so if you have fun stuff you want to trade let me know. If you let your pet get near your Icom 7850 and you want to trade it straight up for my amplifiers, never fear. I will do it despite the devastating pet-exposure issue. Heck. I'll do it even if you don't have the original box. But that is another thing altogether, isn't it? ;)
