VHF/UHF Radios

Yaesu FTM-350

I have for sale my Yaesu FTM-350 in great condition. Radio is marketed as a "dual-band", 2m/70cm radio but is actually a tri-band 2m, 220MHz, 440MHz transceiver and works well in all 3 bands however the 220 band is limited to 1 or 2 watts, 50 watts on 2m and 40 watts on 440. Also has the FGPS-1 module included. APRS function works great, however to be accurate, it must be in 2 decimal point setting (i.e; 42.83) as I have noted that when in any other setting, accuracy is not very well and has shown to be off by 10 miles or more in some instances by the aprs system. Radio will also cross-band repeat and works great in cross-band mode - access through the service menu to turn on/off. Radio also has mars/cap mod. I bought a new mic cord last year as the one that came with it when I bought it was frayed at the radio connection and I am also including the FTDC USB programming cable. IMHO, the only drawback to this radio is the lack of audio from the speakers. Anyone who has researched this radio knows the engineers at Yaesu fouled this area up from the get go and is difficult to hear in a noisy vehicle, even with an external speaker. If you have a headphone or earbuds, they may help, so would an amplified external speaker (which I did not try). No mobile mounts, owners manual (although I do have a .pdf copy which I can supply or you could find one on the internet) or additional power cord - what you see is what I got when I purchased. Asking $380.00 for all including shipping - paypal only. Contact Dennis at or call/text 586-265-6887
