Heathkit SA-2060A HF Tuner

This is by far the best tuner for the HF ham
bands ever made. It has huge variable
capacitors and a smooth roller inductor with
counter, coaxial switch for 2 antennas, long wire or
bypass, balun, and two meters for separate
readings of forward and reverse power
simultaneously. This is the 2060A model, the
most preferred, compared to others of this
same vintage. It is the Heathkit brown color
which does not show up so well in the pics.

It covers 1.8 to 30 MHz, 2000 watts SSB, 1000
watts CW continuous. I have used it to tune up
many different antennas, from long wires,
verticals, dipoles, and other types. It never
arcs or is erratic. There is typically one setting
that gives a perfect SWR and you can write it
down and go back to it when you change
bands and it is always the same. There are a
few minor scratches on the top, but otherwise
it is in excellent cosmetic shape. I am selling it
because I am downsizing my shack which has
become overgrown. Price is $300 plus actual shipping costs.
