YAESY FT-707 HF RIG

I initially bought this radio for
a new ham. It came w/o a case,
feet, speaker and inlay on the
VFO knob. But was advertised as
100% working. I solved several
issues and have used it on the
air for a month now. A problem
remains. I suspect a previous
owner sprayed something into the
switches on the switch bank. They
are all intermittent now. The RIT
switch was causing the VFO to
jump frequency, so I have
temporarily disabled RIT. The rig
is constantly in VOX mode because
of one of the other switches.
I have a replacement switch bank.
It is not an easy swap but can be
done. I found a 707 cabinet and
had it sand blasted and powder
coated. All new stainless/metric
mounting hardware. Also, an
original speaker has been mounted
with an in-line disconnect. Comes
with a Yaesu hand mic (not
original) and a copy of the
service manual. Please see this
as a working project radio; not
for the newbie.
$211 includes UPS shipping CONUS.
Check or money order. No PayPal.
