ICOM LC-156 MULTI-BAG (RIG CARRY BACK-PACK)

ICOM heavy duty back-pack style carry bag constructed with canvas / nylon type material. Especially designed for HAM portable operations, carrying and safe storage of small transceivers like IC-7000 & IC-706mkii style rigs. Any small rig from other manufactures will also work;

BACK-PACK FEATURES;
The back-pack has a Heavy duty zipper around 3 sides of the bag allowing full horizontal lay-down access;

Large padded area for placement of the transceiver body with a sturdy Velcro hold down strap for the transceiver; Also, there is enough room to place a SMALL sealed gel cell battery below the transceiver body for main power;

Battery Storage; There are 2 protected pouches on outside of the back-pack to hold battery's. Inside dimensions of each battery storage pouch is approximately 2.75w" x 2.75d" x 8h";

There is an additional storage pocket with a large protection flap with Velcro on the outside rear of the back-pack. It measures 6.5w" x6.5h" x 2d";

The back-pack has 2 access cable ports, each protected with inside/outside flaps with Velcro for closing. The access ports can be used for connection to power from external battery's, detached transceiver control head, antenna cabling, etc., when the bag is zippered closed. This allows for operating while in the Pedestrian mode. Also, the bag can be partially un-zippered from the top to allow for transceiver air circulation,

A separate pouch is provided for carrying or storing a Detached Control Head with a zippered cover flap for weather protection and or viewing. Two small cable access ports with Velcro flaps to seal the area to accommodate cable access. Connection to the Control Head & Microphone cables enter the pouch from the back-pack. The carry pouch has a Velcro belt loop for attaching it to the waist or chest areas to enable Portable & Pedestrian field operations while walking or sitting;

There are 6 Velcro straps on the back around its perimeter and are intended to accommodate a small vertical antenna mounting mechanism for use in Pedestrian operations;

Shoulder straps and a separate carry handle are provided on the back-pack. The shoulder straps are neatly tucked into a compartment for easy access on the back, the carry handle is located at the top of the bag;

The Multi-Bag has a rain cover hood for extreme weather protection tucked into a zippered compartment near the carry handle at the top of the back-pack. Access to it is similar to rain hood protection as provided near the collar of light jacket;

A small Low Power Auto Tuner can be stored & operated from within the back-pack;
