Scam Alert - Possible Fraud eHam Site

I did a Google search with the
term "eHam" and it took me to a
site that looked like eHam but
the colors that are normally
green were yellow and it showed
that I was not logged on.
Pressed the Log On tab and Norton
360 told me the connection was
not secure. I immediately closed
that tab and searched on eHam.net
and this took me to the real eHam
site and I was already logged on.
I should have copied the URL of
the possible fraud site but, I
was still on my first cup of
coffee didn't think that far
ahead.

Maybe this was just some
connection error or maybe it was
a fraud site but either way it
was not a secure connection and
my login information could have
been intercepted by a savvy
hacker.

If people are wondering how your
login in formation is being
compromised this is one way that
it can happen. I'll bookmark the
real eHam.net to avoid this in
the future.
