All about Amateur Radio Vertical Antennas: W. Orr

This book was no doubt authored by two of the best subject matter experts in the field of amateur radio; one most notably was William Orr. His dedication and knowledge of amateur radio has no doubt expanded the science over the past half-century. All about Vertical Antennas handbook covers the design, construction, installation, and operation. This edition of is a PB copy from around 1986. Essentially, little has changed with respect to antenna design, modification, and utilization since the 1980’s. If you are from the old school of electronics like me, then certainly you will find this book useful and a valuable tool to add the other books in the hamshack, and-or book collection. As one writer quotes “This is an excellent resource - research book for Vertical antennas, however, this book is not for beginning FCC licensed Amateur Radio operators. In my opinion, this is one the best of the Orr/Cowan antenna books”(Unknown Author). I purchased this book to add to my collection of Bill Orr material. You could say he is one of my mentors when it comes to radio theory and antenna systems", Well stated, and also appreciated by me. This book is in good condition and just asking 16.50 which includes shipping.
