KX-3 Fraud Alert BEWARE

A reply to my want ad gave a complete KX3 system with panadapter and $100s of extras for $1K. When I asked if he had the 100w amp, he replied yes, for $450. I asked if that included the amp's tuner, he said yes. This was too good to be true, so I asked for the serial numbers and a copy of the receipt. Never heard from him again.

He was using what I assume is a hijacked call, KA8TBW. He used a gmail address with the call plus 2 numbers.

Caveat emptor.
