WW2 National HRO-W Receiver

This rare wartime variation of the HRO family of receivers was used in radio intercept operations with American and Allied forces. The receiver comes with five coil sets covering 900 Kc in the standard broadcast band up to 30 Mc in the HF band. The coil sets are in the original wooden rack. Also included is an equally rare original military loudspeaker. The receiver is in working condition and compatible with the Type 697 power supply (not included) used with the post war civilian version HRO-5 receiver. That power supply delivers 6.3 VAC at 3.5 Amps for the filaments and 230 VDC at 70 ma for the B+.
The receiver is being offered on a try before buy, $320 cash and carry basis. I will consider shipping the radio and coil set with or without a correct LS-3 speaker (the incorrect LS-215 pictured is no longer available), but the buyer will have to ship me suitable cartons, pre-pay charges, insurance, and assume all responsibility for dealing with any carrier damage.
