Receivers

70.44.110.15.res-cmts.nbh.ptd.net

For Sale: Collins 75A-4 FLAWLESS

A Howard Mills, W3HM, restoration
results in a 75A-4 that functions
better than when it left the
Collins factory over 60 years
ago. The receiver performs
extremely well and is as
sensitive as my FTDX 1200. The
receiver has the 4 to 1 spinner
knob and 3 filters - 500HZ CW ,
3.1KHZ SSB and 6 KHZ AM. Inside
and out, the receiver is in mint
condition. A copy of the Collins
manual and two cassette videos
(by Hi-Res Communications) about
the 75A-4 are included. Also
included is a W3HM report
detailing the performance
measures and circuit
modifications. The cabinet has
been powder coated including the
silk screening of the front and
rear panels. The chassis
components have been polished. I
will deliver within 3 hrs of
Harrisburg PA, for travel
expenses (gas and tolls).
Alternatively, the rig will be
double boxed and packed expertly
to insure no damage. Estimated
shipping costs are $100.
Additional photos are available.
Priced at $1800.
