Kenwood TS-930SAT

Kenwood TS-930SAT
Up for sale are two TS-930SAT
radios and one SP-930 speaker.
Both of these radios are in
excellent condition. I have
updated and modified the power
supplies (on both radios) per the
excellent engineering by
F5VIM/DF7NT. His modifications to
the pass transistors and power
supply, prevent catastrophic
failure of the PA driver
transistors when the pass
transistors short. I have
installed the mandatory higher
voltage pass transistors,
installed emitter resistors, and
other recommended components on
the main power supply board. I
have also done a complete
alignment of each transceiver.
Receivers are running less than
.1uv mds. PA output min 100
watts.These radios are 10 out 10
on the front panels, and 9 out of
10, to 10 out of 10 for the
cabinets. They are both 10 out of
10 for performance. You can go to
this link to see all the pictures
and a video of the TS-930 in

Radio #1 TS-930SAT, with two
INRAD CW filters, PIEXX computer
interface board (it provides 100
additional memories, and
elimination of backup battery’s)
The PIEXX board is a $300.00
dollar option and the INRAD
filters is another $260.00. It
also has the automatic antenna
tuner built in. Asking $690.00
plus shipping.

Radio #2 TS-930SAT is a stock
radio with the only option being
the automatic antenna tuner.
Asking $650.00 plus shipping.

These radios are supplied with
power cord. No other accessories.
Owners manual can be downloaded
from the web.

SP-230 station speaker with
built-in audio filters. Asking
$125.00 plus shipping.

I have put a lot of time, effort
and parts into these radios, and
have had both of them on the air
for my nightly QSO’s. I was fully
intending to keep radio #1, until
I found a TS-950SDX.
Because these radios are over 30
years old and electronics can
fail at anytime, I am selling
these radios, as is, no warranty
and no return. Radios will be
double box for safe shipment.
Shipping insurance will be an
extra cost item if you wish.

If you have questions, please
ask. I will take USPS money
order, Bank check (shipping after
check clears) or paypal + 3%.
